Mr. Raghuvir Chandra Gupta is a consultant with over forty years of experience in the hospitality industry ranging from hotels, restaurants, travel retail and most recently academics.
During this period, he has worked
on several assignments, across locations (within and outside India) and functions. In addition to managing operations, Mr.Gupta has also been involved in planning and setting up of in-flight kitchens; Convention centres; hotel expansions and diversified business development activities.
In addition to the extensive experience, he has had the opportunity to build a strong network of relationships in the hospitality sector including corporates, government agencies and even academia.
Mr.Gupta received a diploma in hotel management from the PUSA Institute of Hotel Management in 1970. He subsequently received an Advanced Diploma in Hotel Operations from Germany in 1974 and attended specialized modules at the School of Hotel Administration,
Cornell University, USA in 1984. Mr. Gupta is a Certified Hospitality Administrator, USA and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, UK. He completed an MBA degree in 2001 with specialization in Marketing
Management.
Mr. Gupta has co-authored several articles on the industry that have been published in various international and domestic journals and is pursuing his Ph.D and his thesis titled “Manpower Management in the Hospitality sector in the NCR Region” is under submission.
In recognition of his Stellar Achievements in the Hospitality Industry, he was awarded the Hall of Fame Award, by the PUSA Institute of Hotel Management Alumni Association, New Delhi in 2017.
